Champlain Timbercraft LLC is located in the south-central Vermont. We build and design timber frame structures using traditional mortise and tenon joinery. We utilize hand tools as much as possible, similar to the way timber framing was done hundreds of years ago. We use exclusively locally sourced woods from our New England forested region. Often, we will do the logging, sawing, joinery and assembly of the project. Much of our work at present is custom. Once we talk to a client and listen to their needs and desires, we start to design the building around the material, the structural considerations, and design elements that will make it one of a kind. Champlain Timbercraft LLC is a small company so we are able to focus our energy on your project and ensure your project meets your needs completely—whether it’s a barn, house frame, garage, or pavilion.
